BC Fam: Black Eyed Peas keep the party rocking with "The Time"

Welp, they are going keep it POPPY some more with this remake. Marrel is prob going to love this one!

Let the good times roll, sayeth the Black Eyed Peas. The Peas' new single, "The Time," keeps up with the electro-house party that the quartet kicked off in 2008 with "Boom Boom Pow." It's full of acid drops, rhythmic roller coasters, a Dirty Dancing sample, and words that always sound like bad words. Don't be surprised if a soccer mom whips her head around in alarm the first time she hears Will.i.am shout out, "DIRTY BIT!"
The song stick to the Peas new formula of melding dance music with urban music. There's no evolution of the sound here, just a continuation of it. And that's fine for now as we're still in the throes of the dance revolution that is sweeping across America. We could've done without the Dirty Dancing sample, but whatever. It's still rockable.

Originally, the single was set to be released two weeks from now, but Will decided to bless the fans with an early Christmas present.
