After firmly type-casting themselves as offering the museum dial watch and only the museum dial watch, Movado has been relatively successful lately in offering some different (and mostly) appealing designs to mix things up a bit. It is true that for years they have offered other deigns, but the museum dial watch is what seems to define them. So taking the “sun 12 o’clock” indicator and playing around with new designs, Movado has been able to successfully offer a range of “other” watches over the years.
An example is this is the simply named Movado Bold Chronograph. It comes in black and white (possibly a few other colors) . It has the simplicity of the museum dial, with a modern look and more utility. Don’t miss the actual hour markers! The case is 42.5mm wide and comes in a plastic case (OK, “polymer”) that is cheaper than coated steel or ceramic. The movement is a Swiss ETA quartz chronograph, and it comes on a matching leather strap. Price for this quite attractive fashion forward watch is $495.

Love this track and video which dropped recently and somewhat undetected, nevertheless we have it here on ImFlashy. The track features off of Terrace Martin & Devi Dev’s Here, My Dear EP that dropped a short while back in which Terrace handles all the production. The video features some nice sax playing in the summer breeze – maybe the drop of the vid is a bit mistimed, but oh well, dope track. Terrace’s production on this and throughout the EP is top-tier and DPG’s Kurupt and affiliate Overdoz’s contributions aren’t bad either.

Unveiled at the recent Korean Formula 1 Grand Prix, you’re looking at the latest creation from luxury watch connoisseurs, Hublot. The F1 King Power Gold is the 3rd official watch released as part of the brand’s “Official Timekeeper of Formula 1” collection which was commenced earlier this year. The watch is intricately detailed with a ceramic brake disc-style bezel, 48mm “King Gold” case, black PVD titanium chronograph pushers with red rubber inserts, black rubber and Nomex strap with red stitching and a matching deployant buckle. The watch has been limited to just 250 pieces, each of which has been individually numbered.

This is assuredly (found on his personal website) a record that will be featured on Lupe’s (for real) upcoming Lasers album. The dynamic production alone is enough to get your blood flowing, and then of course Lupe delivers as Lupe so often does. The sampling of Modest Mouse’s number one hit “Float On,” is also a pretty genius touch, after you get passed the initial moderately awkward stage. Looks like he’s got one here, boys.

Dopeness!
Solid gold edition of the famous finance and real estate game Monopoly. The game is made of 18 karat gold and numerous gemstones, with 165 gems decorating the property squares, photo-etching on the “Chance” and “Community Chest” cards, and 42 full-cut diamonds marking the number dots on the die. The game has an estimated overall value of $2 million, with the set of dice alone worth $10,000.
The gold and jewel-encrusted Monopoly board was created by artist Sydney Mobell and is listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the world’s most expensive. It’s not for sale but is on loan from the Smithsonian Institution National Museum of Natural History for two years, and will be on display through October 2012.

Commemorating the third year anniversary of his Fools Gold record label, one time Kanye West’s tour DJ, A-Trak, blessed his loyal fans with an on stage appearance and straight ripped it on the one’s and two’s, as only appropriate. This man continues to pave the way for young aspiring artists, not just constricted to music, with his innovative techniques and opportunistic outlets. And as I’m sure many of you have heard by now, Mr. West even graced with his presence. I guess it’s safe to say, the party was kind of a big deal.

Allen Iverson(notes) has agreed in principle to sign an incentive-laden, two-year, $4 million contract with Besiktas of the Turkish professional league, sources told Yahoo! Sports on Sunday night. Iverson plans to sign the contract this week, the sources said, and is expected to report to Besiktas the week of Oct. 31.At age 35 Iverson is no longer able to get a spot on an NBA roster, that’s crazy.
