For a while now, there hasn’t been a solid group in the genre. Possibly because Little Brother split up and Pac Div seems to be the only trio willing to stick through thin and thin. Hopefully Black Cotton can change that. The trio out of San Diego, California flex some sweet grooves on “Something About”, an ode to a woman who has captured attention not just by looks but actions as well. Hopefully they continue the group dynamic because cuts like these make you wish it were a Saturday night on the dance floor.
