BC (formerly Black Cotton) to release album
An up-and-coming trio equipped with infectious beats and silky-smooth flows, BC, formerly known as Black Cotton, has the blueprints to make an indelible mark in the music industry. The group consists of three emcees: Jimbo Slice, Leo-Nardo and music producer extraordinaire, Marre-L. They are setting the San Diego music scene ablaze with their first single “Something About It”.
The song is a Daft-Punk inspired diddy from their upcoming LP entitled “Keys To The Suite”, which is slated for an early November release. The scorching hot record, “Something About It”, is already causing a stir not only locally in San Diego but also across the pond. The blend of sounds is unlike anything out there right now and is sure to take over the waves.
Producer and group member Marre-L comments, “I love every record on the album; it’s challenging to choose a favorite but ‘Something About It’ has an undeniably feel-good sound that can be loved and enjoyed by anyone, and everyone.”
There is no doubt that the song, once heard, will be played on repeat in the car, on the radio, at home.
The amazingly talented Hip-Hop trio manages to flawlessly blend Hip-Hop, and R&B, which translates to a freshness the industry has been pining for. Their music is far from contrite or predictable. Their style is neither complicated nor simple, it's baby porridge for the ears and soul and they plan to feed the masses.
They've performed all over the greater San Diego area as well as Orange County and have opened up for major artists. Their resume includes Mitchy Slick, Wiz Khalifa and Yung Berg.
