Had to post this for MARREL & Big Leef the biggest MJ Fans I know! Positioned as the lead single and most anticipated collaborative effort amongst the forthcoming, posthumous project from the King of Pop, the Akon produced “Hold My Hand” is no doubt, garnered to be a chart topper, albeit awards and revenue should be the furthest thing from our minds in regards to the honorary project. The track, put together by the two talented musicians, was actually in the works prior to MJ’s passing in 2009, but with an unfinished version leaking in 2008 and the album nearing its release date, the single is prepped and ready for all the world to hear. Accounting for one of three artist assisted records that will be found on Michael, we can expect appearances from rock royalty, Lenny Kravitz and also from rapper, 50 Cent. Look for the celebratory work to release December 14th.
Throwing this up for Marrel he is the biggest MJ fan I know (besides Khalif).
The official artwork has now been unveiled for the official posthumous album of the “King Of Pop” and modern icon Michael Jackson. Entitled Michael, the highly-anticipated new album, composed of previously unheard music is slated for a December 14 release through Epic Records. An album teaser will appear tomorrow on MichaelJackson.com, and the first single “Breaking News” premieres this Monday, November 8th. Artwork by Kadir Nelson. I wonder how much units this will sell.
Twenty-seven years after the original was released, the legendary Quincy Jones updates his production on the classic Michael Jackson cut “P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing),” enlisting T-Pain and Robin Thicke to take on vocal duties for the fallen King of Pop. Teddy P. dishes a healthy dose of Auto-Tune while Thicke adds some soulful flare to the electrified tune, included on Jones’ star-studded tribute album Q: Soul Bossa Nostra (due Nov. 9).
And T Pizzle addressed the haters on twitter: For all the ppl that hate mr for ruining pyt just stop listening to my shit. But if Quincy jones tell you he want you to do something, no matter how much shot you know ur gonna get from the dumb asses in the world, you god damn do it. The fucked up thing is everybody being so kind to mj after he’s gone, but how can you wish a man to rest in peace when you never gave him peace in a life time? I had the pleasure of meeting MJ and when I left his house I got a call from his lawyer telling mr that MJ wanted me to remake that song. So everybody that’s being overly disrespectful, you don’t have to like me at all, but you also can keep that bullshit to yourself. Like I said I’m making it my job to stay positive on twitter but this is why the image of my ppl is so fucked up cuz we all are to envious and jealous of each other to get passed anything. In conclusion, if you don’t like what I do then stop listening to it, if somebody tells you that my shit is wak, why would you go and try to find it? Just stay off my timeline and my dick and get YO shit together, obviously I’m str8 yasimelike.
Now you too can do your best King Of Pop impression in your living room, all with the help of Michael’s iconic glittery glove:
“One of the most iconic symbols of Michael Jackson’s music and performance legacy is his signature glove,” sharedTony Key, senior vice president of sales and marketing, Ubisoft. “Consumers are encouraged to either pre-order Michael Jackson The Experience early or make sure to purchase the title on day one in order to get this special edition glove as we’re sure it will sell out quickly.”
