EXCLUSIVE: BC a.k.a Black Cotton VIPERIAL Interview !!!
-VIPERIAL- First tell US more about BC , how and when did you meet each-other ?
-BC- Three of us went to high school together. Marrel and Nard grew up on the same block, but went to different high schools. In 2005, I met Marrel at Nard's graduation party and found out he did music. The funny thing is, we just started messing around rapping when we were introduced to Marrel, so the timing was perfect. Manager/DJ Treypeezy.com also went to high school with Nard and Slice and when he moved back to SD from Jacksonville, Florida and things took off. We've been making music ever since.
-VIPERIAL- You guys have 5 mixtapes , tell us more about them ?
-BC- Feast or Famine was our very first mixtape. That's when BC had two other members. Greedy G and Strong. Good times.
BC Powder was our second venture. We recorded some of that mixtape in Florida and had a blast making it. Shout out to Greedy and Strong. After BC Powder, we recorded our first full-length album entitled "Don't Miss Your Flight". A thoroughly pleasing album complete with party anthems, good lyrics and depth.
Next came "Three-Headed Monster", an album full of mixtape freestyles, and slick verses. It was more of our lyrical exercise album.
Then came "Cool Since High School" a solid mixtape full of hits. A great project, but definitely under promoted. We're not making the same mistake with "Keys to the Suite," our current album. We're completely proud of this project and we plan to push this for the next year. Extremely excited!
-VIPERIAL- And now let's talk some more about your latest album "Keys To The Suite" . It is already out and is purchase-available via Amazon and Itunes..so tell us,who created the music, lyrics in the songs included?
-BC- Keys to the Suite is our new venture into the game. We completely took our time with this project and cannot be more satisfied. It is well rounded and packed with hits. We feel that every song can stand on its own and if you give it an honest ear you will not be disappointed. It has excellent production, amazing lyricism and a creative concept. The title is a double entendre on living the suite/sweet life. It's damn near impossible to have a terrible time in a hotel sweet. Check for it on iTunes and Amazon. Also check www.itsallbc.com
-VIPERIAL- There is a video of one of the songs "Something About It". Whose idea was this video ?
-BC- We shot a video for one of our songs, "Something About It" it was shot, directed and edited by HDProFilms. We're ecstatic about the video. We premiered the video along with the album on November 12. We're getting nothing but praise from it. It's professionally shot, edited and directed. We had a blast making it!
-VIERIAL- I know you just dropped your album , but are you working on any new projects ?
-BC- We're just focused on pushing "Keys to the Suite". We've just finished it and we're trying to get it global acclaim, so we're honored to be doing this interview on VIPerial.com. We're also getting ready to shoot our next video for our song "Japan". Stay tuned for that video. It'll be bananas!
-VIPERIAL- Are there any Events you are planning for the future ?
-BC- The next event is getting BC worldwide recognition! We're looking to do shows in different cities, but our ultimate goal wil be to perform internationally! Holla at us Holland!
-VIPERIAL- Now you can tell whatever you like to our visitors !
