BC Feet: Nike Air Force 1 Supreme “Year of the Rabbit”

Enjoying its 10th installment and in association with the 2011 Chinese Lunar New Year, Nike Sportswear celebrate the occasion with a Nike Air Force 1 Supreme. With the Year of the Rabbit theme, the legendary Air Force 1 incorporates Chinese sensibilities with a white, varsity royal and crimson colored upper.
The design itself incorporates a special and innovative midsole with a material grain contrast between the different upper panels. The Year of the Rabbit Air Force 1 will first release in a limited edition packaging set for January 23, 2011. With it will come a suggested retail price of ¥2,599 RMB (approximately $393 USD). Less than a week later, a version with regular packaging will release for ¥1,999 RMB (approximately $302 USD) on January 28, 2011.
Retailers will include the following for the China exclusive: Nike Beijing Store, Nike Sanlitun Store, Nike Beijing Oriental Plaza Store, Beijing Deal, Nike Shanghai Store, Shanghai Juice and Shanghai NPC.

The Jordan 5 Prime, a new sneaker that combines elements of the Air Jordan I and Air Jordan V. The latest colorway to surface is this Black “Laser” version, complete with a reflective metallic silver tongue and Varsity Red accents. Schedule for a Spring 2011 release.

Clae Holiday 2010 New Releases

Nice!

Adding a couple new schemes to their already impressive holiday drop, Clae continues to present its products as clean, classy, and minimalistic – a triple threat combination that seems to keep on winning amongst footwear trends these days. The Kennedy, dawning a seasoned appropriate wool upper, accounts for a very versatile model, capable of being optioned for casual or dress purposes. The second piece, theStrayhorn, offers itself as a tad fancier silhouette, being composed of full grain leather, providing for a necessary, quality touch. Gucci has released their take on the iconic Desert Boot. Besides a somewhat elongated toe, white outsole and small red and green Gucci flag, the light brown suede style stays fairly true to the original form. Now in store at Concepts.

With footwear trends transitioning to that of more minimalistic tendencies Vans OTW branch produces somewhat of a hybrid to the heralded Vans Authentic model, in the Woessner. The silhouette, mirroring that of the stapled sneaker, presents a new look by implementing freshly materialized uppers composed of wool, suede, and hemp. To be accompanied in Vans’ Spring 2011 collection, look for the Woessner to release early next year. Check under the cut for additional looks.

BC Feet: Nike Sportswear Aina Chukka Holiday 2010

I can dig these. Thoughts? I am hearing they are comfortable too.

For Holiday 2010 the Nike Sportswear Aina Chukka comes in two new solid colorways – mixing leather and suede on these bi-tonal versions of the mid top sneaker actually worked out nicely. Both are arriving at Kasina this month.

The Jordan Prime 5 adds elements of the Jordan V to the Air Jordan 1 Alpha, resulting in an interesting new silhouette. For Spring 2011 the sneaker comes in a clean varsity red colorway with metallic silver accents. Look out for a release January 2011.

I had to post these for NARD, since he rocks the Allstars in the crew!

While the December 2010 line-up of sneakers by Converse Japan does not feature any interesting collaborations, it is always nice seeing the work they do with the existing styles of the footwear maker. From Stadium Jacket Chuck Taylors to mid top versions and special color-ups the offering is wide.

BC Feet: Polo Ralph Lauren Burnt Red Ranger Boots

Freshness!

One of the most classic boots to ever have been released by Polo Ralph Lauren, got a remix for Holiday 2010 by New York designerRonnie Fieg. The boots come in a dark burnt red premium leather with tonal branding. An unusual, yet solid looking color for a winter boot, it will be released this coming Friday, November 26th, at David Z. on Broadway and Davidz.com.

 Following closely on the heels of the black/red laser colorway of the AJF 4 is a new white/varsity red laser make up of the JordanFusion sneakers.


An Air Jordan 4 Retro back in 2005 was the first pair of Air Jordans that incorporated laser etched designs, causing a big stir within the sneaker community. The upper on the new AJF 4 Premier is a direct translation from that popular shoe and includes detailed sketches of other Air Jordan releases from over the years. This memorable upper meets with a translucent Air Force 1 midsole that includes a visible heel cushioning system to pay tribute to the original Air Jordan IV.

The Nike Dunk, a staple go-to sneaker for anyone into footwear. With the addition of the Nike SB line, they’ve taken over skateboarding with a swift hand and will continue to do so for quite sometime. Since they haven’t done much updating to the sneakers, it looks like they felt it was time. Kicking things off in 2011, Nike SB is gearing up to release an updated version of the Dunk to create a better skating experience for it’s owner.

Stamping his name on all thinks crafty these days, Swizzy can add another footwear collaboration to his check list. Certainly not as high end this go around (previously worked with Louboutin), the mutli-talented musician has joined forces with stapled athletic brand, Reebok to provide for a 2011 sneaker release.

Some good classics! I had a pair of these!

The early 90s brought consumers the Reebok PUMP – the pump-able shoes introduced to the basketball world and made famous by athletes and celebrities alike. The latest re-release features a masked white colorway with purple and black accents. The classic footwear features reinforced plastic, ankle support and pump system from the 1990s.
