The video for Monster just leaked (definitely not the real release, the audio is terrible and there’s random watermarks that pop up) and holy shit Kanye. Now I’m not going to even pretend to “get this,” cause it’s pretty messed up, but at the same time it’s really creative and impressive. It’s definitely going to grab attention and critical praise. Basically you need to see this, but don’t watch if you don’t like dead women and close ups of Kanye’s diamond teeth. Highlights during my first viewing: 1:05 is hilarious, Jay-Z is boring, Ye’s outfit at 3:25 is fucking swag. Nicki Minaj steals the show here in a schizophrenic display starting at around 3:40. She gives herself a lapdance, if that’s something you might be interested in. I’m pretty sure this is NSFW, just the heads up.
About a month ago during Hot 97′s Thanksgiving show with Nicki Minaj, Busta debuted his verse over “Roman’s Revenge” and naturally everyone wanted the full version but weren’t able to find it for obvious reasons. Not long after Buss gave us all a little snippet of what we could expect and now thanks to Funk Flex, we have the full version. Don’t get too excited yet. It’s tagged up with bombs exploding and all that other shit. Beggars can’t be choosers right?

This shit looks like THRILLER IN 2010! Highly anticipated and soon to be highly scrutinized, I’m sure, the aesthetics to coincide with the super collabed smash “Monster” is undoubtedly on its ways, as here we are welcoming the visual preview, which proves to be nothing short of “interesting.” Definitely has Kanye written all over it. My guess is they might be forced to shoot two styles as it appears the original just might indeed be too hot for TV. Stay tuned for the final product.
On top of the world, most recently as result of her debut album Pink Friday sitting pretty at the number two spot atop the Billboard Charts, the multifaceted split personality, Nicki Minaj is now set to be featured in the New York Time’s style publication, T Magazine. As seen in the presented photoshoot footage, the YM first lady speaks on her music effecting her style and who she purposefully exemplifies when portraying this type of shoot.
