18 up-and-coming music producers made their way to Chicago to participate in a head-to-head battle to be crowned the winner of the Red Bull Big Tune. The attendees of the event were also blessed with a lesson in MPC use with a battle between AraabMUZIK and Exile and to wrap things up, a performance from Just Blaze and DJ Premier. If you’ve never really seen an MPC battle before, I suggest taking a look. Everything you see was done live and it’s crazy, especially when AraabMUZIK dropped “Salute” from Dipset. As a side note, it does get a little loud so make sure you adjust your volume accordingly.
