BC up!
First of all, props to Hollywoodtv for sneaking up on Mr. West so decent and getting unofficial behind the scenes shots of Kanye makings his “All Of The Lights” music video. It looked pretty good from where he shot the video at (appears to be an alley). Hopefully, we may be able to get more official behind the scenes from the Louis Vuitton Don himself.
Spawning from the recent collaboration between the fashion brand Undefeated and Jigga’s musical venture, Roc Nation, of course, as is for everything these days, there must be a corresponding t-shirt. Pretty simple aesthetics, but having that Roc logo alone targets the garment as a must have. Throw your diamonds in the sky if you feel the vibe.
The video for Monster just leaked (definitely not the real release, the audio is terrible and there’s random watermarks that pop up) and holy shit Kanye. Now I’m not going to even pretend to “get this,” cause it’s pretty messed up, but at the same time it’s really creative and impressive. It’s definitely going to grab attention and critical praise. Basically you need to see this, but don’t watch if you don’t like dead women and close ups of Kanye’s diamond teeth. Highlights during my first viewing: 1:05 is hilarious, Jay-Z is boring, Ye’s outfit at 3:25 is fucking swag. Nicki Minaj steals the show here in a schizophrenic display starting at around 3:40. She gives herself a lapdance, if that’s something you might be interested in. I’m pretty sure this is NSFW, just the heads up.
Here is a track we recorded back in 2009 and used it as the opening of our 3 Headed Monster Mixtape. Hey it wouldn't be cool if you didn't listen so be cool and enjoy on a BC Cool Thursday. PS: shout to Ludacris on the track too!
OkayplayerTV goes behind the scenes with Black Milk as they find out how the conditions of Detroit have impacted his music and how J Dilla birthed the Motor City movement you hear today.
I don't know about this beat. But Em is making tons of sense. I feel the same dam way!
To be completely honest I didn’t know what to expect judging from the title, and I’m sure the depressing instrumental and odd chorus just adds to the slight confusion…not really the song paints exactly what they are portraying music of today. Definitely not a Renegade caliber track in my opinion, but it’s still a worthy record to add to the archive.
The rumor (tweet) hit the net a day or so ago, and here we are now, awarded the fruit of the speculation. While I would never say that the featured audio enlightenment is slated to appear amongst Dre’s mysterious Detox album, chances are, if the work releases it will be on there. The trifecta of collaborative talent does indeed come through with a solid record that in turn feels oh so good. Enjoy.

Rich Hil – I Just Got Outta Rehab (Mixtape)
It’s a shame that the year is 2010, almost 2011 and you can still go to jail for the recreational use of a plant. Just another way for the government to make money sending people to jail and in Rich Hil’s case, rehab. It was only proper that Rich titled his latest project I Just Got Outta Rehab, because that’s exactly what happened. I’m sure he was able to write a whole lot and once he got out, straight to the booth he went. The project features an A & B-side, enough music to keep you listening to Rich Hil for the next week. Spark something up for Rich, hit the download button below and enjoy.
